Jump Start Your Fitness Journey

Fitness is not what I usually talk about, but it is something that I am passionate about. This blog will continue to be about the gospel, but, I will be throwing in random things about fitness and lifestyle every once in a while.

Jump start your fitness journey! With the new year, many of us are trying to be more healthy and make some wiser decisions. Well, how do you do that? If you are feeling ready to make healthier decisions, but not sure where to start, here are some beginner tips!

  • Start small. Every small decision slowly makes a difference. If you try to tackle everything at once, it will become too intimidating. Start with small goals. And that leads us to the next point . . .
  • Make goals! Goals are your friends. when you create goals you have something in mind to work towards which in turn keeps Β you motivated!
  • Find motivation. Motivation and friends who are on board with you, are going to help you stay focused. Youtube is a big help here as well.

Remember that you want to live a healthy lifestyle that is maintainable. You can’t cut out junk food, and begin working out 6 days a week right away. I mean you could, but it would be better to start small, and work up to doing more and more.

Remember that God says it is more fruitful to be in his word than to be working the body. But also remember that he asks us to take care of our bodies and what he has given us. Being healthy allows us to be ready for whatever God may have in store for us.
