We can be comfortable in Christ?

Haha the one thing you probably never thought you would here from me!

The passion that God has given to me is to show others, and constantly show myslef, how comfortable we are. We can become so comfortable in our apathy that we never truly live in the fullness of God. We sacrefice that for our own safety and comfort. My heart beats in order to show people this.

However, there is a specific kind of peace and comfort that comes when we are in love with Jesus, living for him, and suffering for Him.

2 Corinthians 1:5-7New Living Translation (NLT)

“5 For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ. 6 Even when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your comfort and salvation! For when we ourselves are comforted, we will certainly comfort you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. 7 We are confident that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in the comfort God gives us.”

God promises us a beautiful peace and comfort that can only be found in Him. In there world, we can never have peace or comfort. we simply cannot comfort ourselves here on earth. We can find comfort through suffering, giving it all, for Christ.

Throughout the scriptures, Acts especially, we see how Paul won’t back down. Peter and Paul sacreficed, even their lives, to  follow Christ. He won’t back down because of people talking badly to him, or people who think badly of him. He says, Go ahead and think what you want. Only God’s opinion matters to me.

The beautiful lesson God is telling us is that in him, is true peace and fulfillment. Run to Him and no one else!

Have a beautiful day ❤
