The importance of feminine beauty has been slowly stolen from our culture by the rise of feminism. Women are pushed to be more masculine and to dominate. As a Christian woman and wife, I think that this is terribly sad. A movement started with good intentions turned into masking what God has given us. Men and women were created differently and with different roles (a great book on this is “Girl Defined”.)

I asked God to break me.
Little did I know then what the consequences of that prayer would be.
Heated words flew back and forth in the air, tears welling in their eyes. Hateful comments and a lack of compassion on either end. Neither cared about each others feelings or what they were saying. Words were just daggers finding their target in the components heart. They wanted to be heard but wouldn’t hear the other. She storms out of the room. He stands there shaking.
I am finally to that place again.
The place where I am frightened, nervous, anxious, and far outside my comfort zone.
